WASHINGTON, DC (December 16, 2009) - On Thursday, December 17th 8:50am EST, Brian E. Taylor, Founder of The Penny Institute (TPI), will join the FOX 5 Morning News for its FOX 5 Ornament Donation. Mr. Taylor will discuss TPI's mission, how citizens can become more involved in the political process, as well as volunteer and donations opportunities.
"We live in extraordinary times and people need urgent help with jobs, education, and opportunities; but more importantly they have to know how to navigate the process to ensure a positive result," said Brian Taylor, founder of The Penny Institute.
Mr. Taylor founded The Penny Institute as a nonpartisan-nonprofit organization to teach average Americans how to navigate national, state, and local politics. While working around the country on political campaigns and lobbying for different issues, he identified a need to empower Americans on both sides of the isle. "The Penny Institute is doing its part to get Americans educated and in the game," said Taylor.
